Mark Winkler is an author, family advocate, and motivational speaker. Through his nonprofit organization, Manhood Camp/Fatherhood Circle, he provides leadership, guidance, and life-skills coaching to men and boys. His recent work focuses on helping men and fathers rethink and redefine masculinity through his initiative, "De-Radicalizing Masculinity."
In addition to Manhood Camp/Fatherhood Circle, Winkler serves as a Program Operations Supervisor at Tarzana Treatment Centers, where he organizes substance use prevention and awareness workshop series at schools across the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and Glendale Unified School District (GUSD). He has a coordinated these workshops with police cadets at several local police departments (see AP News article below). Additionally, Winkler co-created a cohort of over fifty community-based organizations called the Community Coalition Network (CCN). The CCN meets monthly in person to strategize on building meaningful partnerships to better serve the youth and families within their care network.
Before becoming a Program Operations Supervisor, Winkler worked as a music agent at United Talent Agency (UTA). During his tenure, he signed and booked renowned artists such as Nelly, Patti LaBelle, Teena Marie, Anthony Hamilton, Nas, and Mase. He collaborated closely with talent management teams to package and route regional and national tours, while also negotiating and preparing booking contracts. In addition to his agent responsibilities, Winkler led UTA’s High School Youth Mentor Program.
